Project Description

Location:   Garden City, Texas
Client: Energy Transfer Partners
Construction Cost: $360,000,000
Installed Capacity: 130 MMCFD Processing Plant
Year Commissioned: 2014

In February 2014, RRC’s client announced a long-term agreement with an energy company affiliated with a major energy supplier to provide midstream services for natural gas produced from a number of wells in the Permian Basin. As a result, our client constructed a 130-million-cubic-feet-per-day (MMCFD) cryogenic processing plant in Glasscock County, Texas, with expansion capability to 200 MMCFD. This client will also build more than 100 miles of high-pressure and low-pressure gathering pipelines connecting to this plant.

RRC provided land surveying, geotechnical engineering, construction staking, structural observation, construction materials testing, concrete, asphalt, and soil testing for quality control and project management.
