The Lithia Solar Project is a 74.5 MW AC solar-powered electric generating plant located in Hillsborough County, Florida. The facility utilizes thin film modules mounted on ATI DTHZ V3 FS4 tracker. The DC power generated by the panels is collected and converted to AC power by inverter stations distributed throughout the array field. The DC voltage is up to 1,500 V. The inverter station contains step-up transformers to raise the inverter output voltage to 34.5 kV for transmission to the project substation. RRC provided electrical engineering and SCADA engineering services for this project.
