Edward Vasquez, PE
Vice President, RRC Power & Energy
Round Rock, TX
Edward Vasquez is one of the original RRC founders in 2007. In addition to managing RRC’s legal affairs and contracts, Edward heads the company’s safety and management training programs. Being a passionate communicator and an experienced writer, he drafted most of the original training materials, manuals, procedures, and policies at RRC Companies. Edward even started RRC’s internal newsletter.
In his previous role, Edward managed geotechnical and construction operations in the Permian Basin from the Midland, TX office. His expertise and natural problem-solving skills delivered excellent results. That office became a seed for creating Beyond Engineering & Testing, LLC.
Edward is a graduate of the Materials Science Engineering program at the University of Notre Dame and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE). He is a registered engineer in 11 states. Most importantly, he is a dedicated mentor to project managers, young leaders, and junior staff. Edward said this about his mentorship work, “I am always excited about an opportunity to train younger staff. Engineers are not always ready to become project managers, so I try to prepare them.”
This commitment to continuous learning helped to turn RRC into a full-service consulting engineering firm with industry-leading capabilities in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, structural engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, and surveying.
When not busy with his professional and volunteer activities, Edward enjoys travel and live music.
