Bill Bong is the founding Principal of RRC Companies, where he serves as President and a member of the Board of Directors. In this role, Bill works closely with the Board to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, goals, vision, and values for RRC Companies. He also oversees the company’s financials and new initiatives.
With over two decades of experience in the engineering field, Bill has positioned RRC Companies as the premier full-scope engineering firm serving the energy industry. He values teamwork and integrity and believes that people-to-people relationships are the key to success in business.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees. Since 2007, RRC has grown into a leading full-scope engineering firm known among its clients in the renewable and conventional energy sectors for technical expertise and commitment to quality.
Bill’s business philosophy is based on the “Three Ps”: People, Planet, and Profit. “No sustainable company can remain in business for 100 or 200 years (which is what I want for RRC) if it doesn’t take care of its people – clients, employees, and community members,” explains Bill. “A company also needs a product or a service that makes a meaningful contribution to the betterment of society, both on the local and global levels. And I know that RRC has that. Finally, profitability and financial sustainability ensure that a company like RRC can continue to grow, innovate, and provide for its employees and their families.”
In his spare time, Bill enjoys traveling around the world with his family.
