Chong “Bill” Bong, PE

Bill is the founding Principal of RRC, current RRC President, and a member of the RRC Board of Directors. As President, Bill manages the operational activities of the company and works closely with fellow board members to implement company strategic plans, policies, goals, vision, values, and objectives. Bill leads the company engineering and land surveying services. He is also responsible for overall company financials, human resources, information technology, business development, and new initiatives. Bill is skilled at identifying opportunities and delivering strong financial performance to ensure the company’s sustainable growth. Bill holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Since co-founding RRC in 2007, Bill and others have positioned the firm as experts in the energy market.
Mohammed H. Abusalih, PE

As one of the founding members of RRC, Mohammed has gained considerable engineering and project management experience for renewable energy projects across the United States. In addition, Mohammed has extensive engineering experience in transportation-related projects, public works, and commercial developments. His responsibilities include business development, client management, and overall project management. Mohammed’s proficiency in the field and tailored approach to each project has proved his commitment and dedication to ensuring high levels of execution and quality of deliverables, resulting in many satisfied and repeat renewable energy clients.
Mike Kraft, PE
Vice President, Business Development

With over 15 years of experience in the power and energy sectors, Mike has held numerous leadership roles for renewable generation, high voltage consulting, and construction organizations. Mike is a results-oriented, proven business development professional, known for creatively conquering issues and empowering environments of trust and appreciation, which drive higher-functioning team performance, improved client collaboration, and better business outcomes.
J. Edward Vasquez, PE
Director, Corporate Support
Round Rock, TX
Edward is one of RRC’s founding members. Edward has a background in materials science and is a licensed civil engineer in multiple states. He has developed a reputation as a problem solver with geotechnical and construction issues. Edward’s responsibilities include technical review of RRC geotechnical and CMT deliverables and troubleshooting for projects across the company. Edward serves as a contracts specialists and performs other corporate functions. Edward is also RRC’s Safety Coordinator, chairs our Safety Committee, and manages RRC’s accounts with ISNetworld, BROWZ, and PICs.
Samuel Moser, PE
Director, Electrical Operations
Sam has considerable experience in the industrial and electrical utility sectors as well as the renewable energy market. With a focus on solar and wind projects, Sam has performed project management, field service, and design for more than 40 different utilities, petrochemical, water treatment, and manufacturing companies. His experience spans from initial interconnection processes, through bidding, design, and construction phases. Sam’s services are based on strong communication, timely response and working alongside as a team member with our clients.
Ben Krause, PE
Director, Structural & Geotechnical Operations
Maple Grove, MN
Ben is one of the founding members of RRC and is responsible for managing the structural engineering group. As a Sr. Project Manager, Ben manages multi-scope geotechnical and structural engineering projects. His engineering background has been primarily involved with the execution of industrial-scale wind turbine foundation designs. Ben has been involved in over 250 wind farm projects amounting to approximately 33,000 MW of wind energy across the United States and Canada from coast to coast. Ben has served as a member of the RRC Board of Directors since 2016.
Director, Oil & Gas Business Development
Gary has been in the Oil & Gas business for 15 years, 11 of those years working in the surveying industry. From 2007 to 2015, Gary worked as a Crew Chief staking over 4,000 well locations, multiple pipelines, and electrical easements. In his years as Crew Chief, Gary gained the experience needed to be Survey Coordinator and uses his knowledge to work with clients and field crews to execute projects. As a founding member of RRC Surveying, Gary assisted in the growth of the company from 2 employees to 60 in just 5 years. As Oil & Gas Industry Lead, Gary is responsible for initiating the sales effort, managing sales team activities, securing and supporting executive communication, developing appropriate business value messages, and securing each sale with the appropriate contracts and agreements. In addition, Gary is in charge of managing projects, marketing endeavors, and proposal execution.
Director of Quality
Sandra has been responsible for quality management of over 7.5GW of utility solar power installations. For more than 29 years, Sandra has gone above and beyond as a quality manager in multiple industries including solar, utility power, automotive, and telecom. Sandra has a track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and leveraging lean manufacturing and quality operational practices to achieve outstanding results. Sandra’s acumen in project management and consulting includes the successful management of 27 simultaneous solar projects and being instrumental in acquiring the first large-scale solar site certification. Sandra earned her HBA in Psychology from the University of Windsor with a postgraduate degree in Science and Business Management from Pace University. She has trained in Six Sigma concepts and has additional formal training in Quality Operating Systems, Advanced Product Quality Process, and Auditing. Sandra has held positions of leadership in manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and quality management. She has implemented factory acceptance testing checkpoints for power transformers and developed supplier quality requirements to ensure vendor compliance.
Director of Power Delivery

Brian brings a wealth of engineering and construction experience. Brian is a demonstrated leader in electric utility consulting focused on growing highly technical teams. He has successfully led engineering & design teams supporting Investor-Owned Utilities, Co-ops, and Developers from project initiation to commercial operation with execution models ranging from engineering-only to full Design-Build/EPC. His expertise covers substation design and quality assurance for protection and control, physical design, and SCADA/telecommunications; technical specifications development, interpretation, and adherence; project management; construction support; materials management; project estimation; development, management, and execution of competitive bid proposals; contract review and negotiation; contract management; Critical Path Method scheduling; client relationship development business development; technical mentorship and organic team building; engineering standards and process development.

Corey is a Business Development and Consulting professional with a proven track record of program development and customer base growth. He holds expertise in breaking into new markets, creating successful campaigns, and building successful teams. In 2018, Corey was awarded Top Producing Business Development Manager for the Dallas/Fort Worth and Oklahoma market. Additionally, he held full responsibility for his former employer’s most profitable market verticals: wind, solar, and EV charging. He is comfortable working directly with clients and executives to identify targets, discuss strategy, determine goals, and create client/project-specific action plans. Corey values “easy-button solutions” such as standardized pricing and simplified billing procedures which disencumbers his clients’ experience and facilitates trust. He also enjoys developing innovative services that spark new profitable opportunities for both the client and RRC. Which is why his LinkedIn profile boasts over 5250 connections to date.
VP of Power Delivery

Nathan is an accomplished executive in business development with a strong technical engineering background. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with registrations in more than 30 states, Nathanis a proven leader in providing visionary guidance to the Power Delivery industry. His command of both the technical and project management aspects of engineering making him an authority in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, his emphases in design, development, quality, control systems, electrical studies, and business analysis are value-adds to any potential project and/or client. Nathan also has experience with Micro-Grids and campus power systems.

Todd brings 31 years of experience in the energy construction field with a focus on civil, structural, and mechanical. For the last 10 years, Todd has served in both a Chief Consultant position and Project Management role. His project experience has ranged across the oil, gas, coal, wind, & solar industries. Most recent projects include civil scope for (Swinerton) Impact Solar Farm 2019/2020 and (EDP/Kiewit) Wildcat Wind Farm 2020/2021. Todd is a “boots on the ground”, “hands-on” guy. He holds numerous field inspection certifications that have enabled him to work as a chief inspector. Todd’s unique, cross-functional, and engineering to final construction experience gives him the unique ability to bring value at every step of a project.
Steve Beilstein, PE
Transmission Line Group Manager
Mr. Beilstein is a licensed electrical engineer with over 14 years of design, engineering, and quality management experience in the fields of overhead and underground transmission lines. His transmission line project experience includes physical and electrical design of overhead transmission lines from 34.5 kV through 500 kV, as well as limited physical and electrical designs of single circuit 115 kV and 230 kV underground HPGF pipe type and XLPE duct bank transmission lines. Steve is considered an expert in PLS-CADD software for overhead transmission line design.
Sameeraja Brundavanam, PE
Operations and Substation P&C Manager
Sameeraja Brundavanam, P.E. currently manages the OR office operations and the substation P&C team. She has over eight years of extensive experience in designing and leading utility scale electrical substation projects. Her major responsibilities have included physical design, protection and control design, preparation of proposal and design summary documents, procurement documents, bill of materials, schedules and cost estimates. She is also learning utility scale solar design and is working on and bid and permit packages for developers.
Tim Bailey, PE
System Studies Manager
Mr. Bailey has extensive experience in the design and analysis of electrical power systems for industrial, utility, and renewable energy projects. He specializes in performing system studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, loss evaluation, cable thermal analysis, PV power production modeling, lightning shielding analysis, substation illumination, and the evaluation of large and interconnected grounding networks. He has worked on utility scale renewable energy projects throughout North America and has been involved in all phases of wind farm and solar farm development.
