Rohit is a recognized expert within the infrastructure and renewable energy industries. At RRC Power & Energy, he is responsible for geotechnical, structural, and civil engineering groups, as well as the construction material testing (CMT) division.

Rohit has extensive experience in the design of utility-scale wind and solar energy, flood protection, and civil infrastructure. He is an expert in geotechnical site exploration and site characterization, risk assessment and feasibility studies, design calculations, construction recommendations, project cost analysis, and engineering management.

Having earned a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University, Rohit possesses a strong academic background. Moreover, he has a keen research interest in studying the mechanics of soils and rock-forming minerals, specifically on a nano/micro level.

Looking back to 2014 when he joined RRC, Rohit reflects on his growth: “Professional challenges are incredibly exciting for me. I’m an explorer by nature. Designing something new or solving an engineering challenge puts me in overdrive.” He adds, “But nothing compares to the excitement of seeing our clients come back to us again and again. It’s a privilege to have their trust.”
