RRC has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Civil Design Engineer in Tualatin, OR. This position is responsible for the coordination, implementation, on-time execution, and quality assurance/quality control of civil designs for the renewable energy industry and general civil work on assigned projects. This job position reports to the Civil Engineering Group Manager.

The position requires a qualified individual to conduct the full civil design of wind projects, which includes site planning, turbine access road layout, crane path layout, drainage and grading design, and construction support. The position also includes full civil design of solar projects, including site planning, access road layout, permitting support, grading, drainage, fencing, and construction support. General civil design, including transportation and infrastructure engineering, are also included. Responsibilities include hydrology and hydraulics, drainage design with erosion control, and horizontal and vertical roadway design. This position will be responsible for leading the structural engineering and design effort for assigned substation and transmission line projects from 15 kV through 345 kV. The design will focus on detailed design of utility and renewable energy substation and transmission line systems. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience and be a registered PE.

• Coordinate all structural aspects of substation and transmission line projects.
• Provide technical execution and oversight of substation and transmission line structural engineering including steel structures and foundations.
